((Bruce is in the second year of his career as Batman. While the character as written in this journal does borrow the canon established in the 2005 movie Batman Begins, the writer is also fleshing out his character with elements borrowed from the graphic novels Batman: Year One, Batman: Year Two, Batman: The Man Who Laughs, Batman: The Long Halloween, and the comic book series Legends of the Dark Knight.
***While this writer does borrow from the movie canon, this incarnation of Bruce Wayne should be considered an AU to that canon. The character does not adhere strictly to the backstory presented in the films, nor does the writer wish to merely rehash events from Batman Begins or The Dark Knight. He will gladly recognise muses from that canon or comic canon, and does not mind being recognised as a public figure by other muses. Please do not, however, also recognise him as Batman unless he discloses that to your muse or your muse would canonically have that information.***
Bruce Wayne and Batman belong to Bob Kane, Bill Finger, and DC Comics. The graphic novels, comics, and film references used for this character belong to their respective creators, writers, and producers.
